Swaging
Our Wire Teknik, Portable Roller Swager produces high quality swaging of aircraft cable, wire rope, up to 5/8" in diameter. We guarantee clean, straight swages with a single pass, insuring maximum strength and longevity. All terminal ends are sealed with bedding compound to reduce crevice corrosion.
Lifelines
Custom lifelines are made up to order in our shop or aboard your
vessel. All
lifelines are made with high quality wire (coated or uncoated) and
swaged
stainless fittings, to ensure the highest level of safety.
Rig & Mast Inspections
At Blanchard Rigging we pride ourselves on our extensive mast and rig inspection. While aloft we can: lubricate sheaves and tracks, test electrics, replace bulbs and spreader boots, tape spreader tips, and perform die testing of terminals by request.
Standing Rigging
All of our rigging is made up with 316-grade stainless steel, wire rope and fittings. Terminals can be swaged or mechanical and a static tune is conducted upon completion.
Running Rigging
High quality lines are used with rated shackles to produce long lasting, reliable halyards. We offer splicing of double braid, high tech low stretch line and rope to wire. Reefing and control line configurations can be improved; rope clutches, winches and additional halyards can be installed to provide maximum ease and control of your running rigging.
Welding
We offer on site custom fabrication of brackets and radar platforms in stainless steel and aluminum. Custom mast and boom fabrication is also available.
Electrical
Whether refurbishing or installing new navigation and deck lighting, all electrical wiring is done using double jacketed, tinned marine grade wire. Electrical wiring and VHF coaxial cable is run through PVC conduit to isolate it from internal halyards and reduce noise.
Furling System Installations
With extensive working knowledge of many different types of furling systems, we offer consultation on the various options available. We supply and install a variety of headsail and main furling systems as well as repair and refurbish existing systems. |
